TEACHER TRAINING GRADs
The fall term session in person sessions were fully masked. After the November the course was completed via ZOOM. They were resilient and persevered. Everyone got certified!
Spring 2020 was a whirlwind with COVID shutting down all in-person sessions. Fortunately they were almost done and were able to finish via ZOOM!
Like most I was hesitant whether Teacher Training was for me, with ?s like "Will I even use this?" "Will it change my practice that I already enjoy?" "Do I have the time to fully commit?" The answer is to all is YES. While I was not sure in the beginning how I would utilize a YTT, I have since began a new stage of sharing and guiding others formally and informally through their Yoga journey's. It absolutely changes your yoga practice, it grows your practice!
Sanctuary Teacher Training was a great way for me to expand my knowledge on the history of yoga. It allowed me to deepen my personal practice and introduce others to the practice.
TT was a wonderful experience. My yoga broadened to include a more dedicated personal practice as well as the traditional elements of ethics and meditation. I gained an understanding of practical body mechanics that has improved my physical well being. I sit and stand taller, and lift and run with better form. I signed up for TT because I was interested in teaching; while I immensely enjoy teaching, the prominent benefits for me have been the personal physical and mental developments I gained

I love yoga! When I'm on my mat, all my cares drift away. I am excited to share my love of yoga with others. I hope to see you in class soon!
Hi! I'm Hanna, you'll see me around the studio a lot this summer between managing the studio, teaching ballet, instructing barre, as well as yoga teacher training. This August I will be moving to Texas where I will be starting my journey of being a military wife and hopefully bringing the joy of yoga to military personnel, family members, and veterans on base! If you get the chance to talk, I'd love to meet you and chat. See you soon!
I'm a recent WSU grad. I work with Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse, and I intend on pursuing graduate studies in mental health. Yoga is an amazing physical practice with applications for therapeutic interventions. Sanctuary has been an amazing studio where I've grown tremendously, and I genuinely look forward to teaching.
Graduates Zach, Jamie, Colleen, Tiffany, Brenda & Sheila!
