My yoga journey began at Sanctuary in 2013, and has grown here since. After falling in love with the practice, I became certified the summer of 2016 and have been teaching here ever since. You can find me teaching Yin, Hatha & Vinyasa, as I love a well-rounded and varied approach to both yoga and life. Yoga has taught me the gift of mind/body/spirit connection to healing, health, and happiness, and it is my intention to give that same gift and holistic life approach to the classes I guide.

Stephanie leads a variety of classes including early morning Power classes. Stephanie is a RYT certified instructor through Sanctuary and we love that she is a part of our team!

Barre Instructor

Yoga RYT 200 Instructor at Sanctuary since September, 2017. From Albuquerque, NM. I hold a Biochemistry degree from New Mexico State University. During my undergraduate years, I started practicing yoga regularly to improve my flexibility and mental strength. When I am not in the studio, you can find me in the Food Science building at WSU working on my PhD in Wine Science, or behind my turntables as I DJ under the name "DJ Grape Vinyl."

In May of 2016 I became a 200RYT in the Power/Vinyasa yoga tradition and have since immersed myself in various other trainings and workshops. My mission as a Yoga Teacher is to provide my students with a non-dogmatic yoga experience focused on taking charge of their physical, mental and spiritual well-being, without apology. I strive to provide a quality yoga practice that is based on wisdom, not vanity, and promotes self-reflection, growth, healing and transformation from within.

Adam’s yoga journey began in 2018, quickly developing a dedicated practice to reduce stress and return to daily activity overcoming injury. In 2020 when he completed his Yoga Teacher Training at Sanctuary. Adam’s current approach focuses a balanced active lifestyle practice for all levels of practitioners. As an ultra-marathon distance runner with ongoing daily runs, Adam’s yoga practice specifically embodies intention towards strength, endurance, and active recovery.

Alyson has been practicing yoga for 20 years. She loves yoga because of the sense of mental and physical strength she gets from the practice. "No matter how I feel when I come to my mat, I walk away with a much calmer, clearer perspective. My hope for my students is that I am able to help them find a similar experience."

Dance Instructor

I’ve been practicing yoga on and off since I was a teen but after moving to Pullman I started a dedicated practice. As a yoga instructor, I love to create space for joyful movement and exploration. My classes tend to have periods of high energy and fun music coupled with asanas to encourage practitioners to turn inwards. For me, yoga has been a critical part of learning to love and enjoy being in my body so I look to offer that to those who attend my classes.
